My name is Keller Dillman. I am one of 5 siblings and fall as the third in line. 3 of my siblings are in college/grad school. Currently spread across the country, a ways away from our hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

I study American Studies and Business Administration at the University of Mary Washington. I am a member of numerous organizations: Mortar Board, Phi Eta Sigma honors society, Captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team, Marketing Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
I plan to attend law school and earn my M.B.A. as well, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and business law. My interest in law stems from a history of lawyers in my family, with numerous aunts and uncles who have worked in Washington D.C., and my mom, who graduated from Yale, also focusing on business law.
As of this semester, I am enrolled in a Making Local History class. It is appropriate to explain how I relate to Lancaster, PA. Both parents grew up in the area, attending Lancaster Mennonite High School, and my family has lived within the county. Growing up, we all had a special appreciation for the natural landscape in the county, known for its fertile land and agricultural footprint. We began to notice farms getting bought by developers, and farmland was replaced by neighborhoods. Making Local History provided an avenue of research on underlying factors contributing to the urbanization of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
